With a decade of experience at one of the world’s leading fashion brands, as well as years of practice as a graffiti/character artist and bgirl, CXROLE has cultivated a deep understanding of self-expression whilst celebrating the complexities of femininity.

Designing her signature characters while working across a variety of mediums—specifically pencil, ink, acrylic/latex/spray paint, chalk, and digital formats—CXROLE's art captures the essence of both the cocky and the coy; whether they standalone in a ‘pin-up’ style, or complement a stylized background.

Of interest, are the feminine notes present throughout her works, specifically in her male characters. The balance of masculinity and femininity are a visual spectacle unique to CXROLE’s work, and—while conversation-starting—are generally “easy on the eyes”.

CXROLE draws her greatest inspiration from her father, whose creative spirit, along with the influence of her entire artistic family, has shaped her core design language that continues to build on to this day. ILLPIXY stands as a testament to the belief that art, like all forms of expression, should be authentic and personal.
